Cash Drop! Achievements! Bug Fixes!


Free Drops are now Cash Drops

  • Free drops were a neat idea but they felt a little lackluster and taking them away for one of the challenges after you bought them with meta upgrades felt pretty bad.
  • They are now "Cash Drops" that cost increasing amounts of cash instead and the related Meta Upgrade has been removed.

More Expensive Relics

  • Players were ending up with too much money later on in runs so relics are more expensive and Cash Drops should also help this issue.
  • Re-rolls may need to be more expensive also but I'll start with this and see how it feels.

Achievements

  • Were broken. They are now fixed
  • I also added achievements for completing each one of the challenges and added another one for spending lots of cash.

Bug Fixes

  • The game will now keep running in the background if you click away from the screen
  • The game was not scaling properly on some devices, especially Macs, so that should be working better now.
  • Balls should no longer sometimes fall outside the game area causing the game to hang.
  • Music and Sound effects are working in the Main Menu now.
  • Fixed a bug where music would not start playing occasionally on load.
  • A whole bunch more error handling in preparation for early access.

Next up

  • UI Updates across the board
  • Bouncy Ball updates
  • Changing Charge Buckets to be a bit more interesting
  • More music tracks soon!
  • Sound effects need work
  • More marketing (ugh)
